Practicing
Craig has a referee camp that is coming up. He was planning on attending as a camper, learning how to be a better ref, but my Aunt Kae is in charge of the camp and really likes Craig and knows how good he is, and she felt like he was good enough to be a paid official instead of on being trained. Which is great, if you ask me. He can still go to all the classes, he still gets the experience of referring, but he is getting paid to be there, instead of having some one else watching him the whole time and telling him everything he does wrong. You would think that would take the pressure off.. But he has been reading up, refreshing himself on all the rules and practicing in front of the mirror making good strong calls. I think he feels more pressure...our brains think totally different. Any how, I snapped this picture of Lucy and Craig practicing together. Lucy has got blowing the whistle and putting her arm up to call a foul down packed..it is pretty stinking cute.
